The Consultation

Before Treatment
This minimally invasive treatment in most cases requires no preparation and is 100% reversible compared to crowns or veneers. Composite bonding improves both the shape and shade of your teeth.
After Treatment
For the first 24–48 hours after the procedure, avoid hard, crunchy, or sticky foods that could harm the bonding. Coffee, tea, red wine, or other drinks can stain your teeth, avoid them so your smile stays white longer. Smoking can also stain the bonding, so it’s best to avoid it. If you grind your teeth at night, wear a night guard to protect the bonding. Visit your hygienist every 4 months to remove stains and polish the composite. After bonding, check for any rough spots or edges. If you find any, contact your dentist for adjustments.
